Steve Pischke

Jörn-Steffen (Steve) Pischke is a Professor of Economics at the London School of Economics and a Research Associate at the Centre for Economic Performance. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Princeton University and has several papers published in top journals, mainly in the fields of labor economics, economics of education, and applied econometrics. Besides, he has published together with Joshua Angrist “Mostly Harmless Econometrics: An Empiricist’s Companion” (2009) and “Mastering Metrics: The Path from Cause to Effect” (2015), two of the most widely-used books in applied microeconomics.
